my birthday was a simple affair. truth is, after a certain age, you stop coveting the lavish and loud parties and you learn that simplicity brings the warmest of joy as well.

the clique was invited over to my place for a BBQ. maybe i anticipated some mini surprise but i was still pleasantly shocked.

and here's comes the bday surprise. I was tricked by jov n nette that it was her time of the month and she needed to borrow stuffs. funny how i suspected nothing when jov came along with her.

cupcakes from 12 cupcakes! makeup kit, a Mango sling bag and personalized clay messages. Man, was i blown away :)

the second celebration occurred on the actual day at orchard central's Medz with the CG.

this was how i spent my 22nd; nothing too extravagant, nothing too fanciful, but my heart was equally full.
