and 2012 is gonna be a better year yet

because reminiscing upon the highlights of 2011 reminds me of God's faithfulness upon my life:

1. short hair

I went back to my short hair days after 3 years as a form of a fresh start and am still embracing the carefreeness accompanied by it

2. Lion King Broadway Musical

I went for my first broadway musical after eons (the first was phantom, which probably doesn't count because it was a family outing when i was no more than 6 yrs old)

3. Tuition Assignments

I made 4 digits income (during my better days) by imparting knowledge to students and actually discovered my passion in teaching math

4. Leading testimonies and giving Bible studies - yes, definitely a milestone and not something i thought i was possible of doing at the start of the year.

5. Sundown Half marathon

yes, although i limped for about 8-9KM, i am still proud to say i persevered and completed the race

6. Engin FOP 2011

met the craziest bunch of people as we came together to plan for freshmen orientation. Yep, that's right. June hols were never the same again

7. HK trip

made new friendships w a bunch of people whom i'd never have imagined would become so close to my heart now. And, yes i love them and i'm committed to them

8. Family

we've since learnt to iron things out verbally instead of keeping issues in our hearts and have became much closer. my relationship w my sis grew tremendously- i was never willing to go out for meals/shopping with her but i thank God for reconciliations and speaking to me the importance of kinship.

in between my finance management, i treated my stomach to delectable dishes and re-visted many places on my to-go list ,among which many were my debut entries into eateries i haven't stepped foot into before 2011

10. New friendships

i got to make many new precious Godly friendships in church outside of my CG/ zone in which i treasure, out of which there were certain i grew to appreciate more

thank you for going the extra mile to appease my stomach and my heart whenever my cravings arose :)

all in all, i've received so much more than I could imagine- financial breakthroughs, spiritual breakthroughs, breakthroughs in relationships. Thank you for making a difference in my life this 2011, thank You :)
